Step 1: Sign up for VA online drivers education with DriverEdToGo.com. Step 2: Receive your Certificate of Completion once you have successfully finished the course on your own time and passed the final exam. Step 3: Schedule to take your official DMV written exam after finding a driver’s license office in your area. Make sure to use all the knowledge you learned in our online course. Step 4: Get your learner’s permit after passing the written test and start your behind-the-wheel training with an instructor or licensed adult over the age of 21. Step 5: Log your necessary driving hours and practice as often as you can, day and night. Step 6: After nine months, you’re finally ready for the DMV driving test. Successfully pass and get your Virginia restricted license!
