*You must be at least 15-years-old to obtain a learner’s permit. *The holding period for a learner’s permit is 6 months. *You must complete 30 hours of supervised driving, and 10 of the hours must occur at night. *You must be at least 16-years-old to obtain a driver’s license. *You must pass a road test. *You are not permitted to drive between midnight and 5am for the first 6 months after you obtain a provisional driver’s license unless you have a qualified and supervising driver present. *You may only have one nonfamily passenger younger than twenty during the first six months of having a provisional driver’s license unless you have a parent or guardian with you. You can carry a maximum of three nonfamily member passengers during the second six months. *Drivers education is mandatory for applicants under age 18.
