FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOLFAQ's

Since FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL is listed on your website, does this mean they are approved by the New Jersey DMV to offer driver training courses?
The list of driver training schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-approved by the New Jersey DMV.  You may want to call FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required behind-the-wheel training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....stick OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you'll know for sure whether FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
What happens to those of us who live in a non-urban area? Will FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
Are 14-year-olds permitted to obtain a instruction permit in New Jersey?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the minimum age for which to hold a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school like FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL to find out what the minimum age for driving is in New Jersey.
Am I required to take a RIVERSIDE New Jersey classroom or online drivers education course before I can sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course through FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL?
This requirement varies from state to state but most states do mandate pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based defensive driving course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL if they offer one or both programs.
New Jersey's DMV has told me that I need to take a behind-the-wheel training course. Do you know if FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL offers this course or not?
FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL does offer the driver training course that New Jersey requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL offers, we recommend that you contact FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL directly.
What do I need to do to obtain a driver's license in RIVERSIDE New Jersey?
It depends on New Jersey's laws, but most states require new, teen-aged drivers to sign up to take a drivers education classroom course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL to see if they offer the driver training course that would fulfill the regulations set forth by the New Jersey DMV.
Is it necessary for me to sign up for a driver training course in order to get my first New Jersey driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in New Jersey are required to take a state-approved behind-the-wheel training course.
Is it okay for me to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training class in New Jersey before I receive my New Jersey instruction permit to drive?
Probably not.  Most states require first-time drivers to have their instruction permit before they are allowed to enroll in a driver training program.  You should contact a driving instruction company like FREEDOM DRIVING SCHOOL and request more information.
