When teens are first learning to drive, they are highly receptive to important messages about the dangers of unsafe driving and driving while intoxicated. That is why it is so important for parents to get involved at this initial stage to ensure proper and thorough education to help set ground rules and instill good driving habits, as their teen takes on the responsibility of operating a motor vehicle.
The course takes a minimum of 24 hours to complete. Students may spend a maximum of 2-hours per day taking the course, which means it will take a minimum of 12 days to complete the course.
The final exam consists of 50 questions. The student must correctly answer 38 (or 75%) of the questions correctly in 3 or fewer attempts in order to pass the course.
There are two certificates for this course:
Certificate of Enrollment - which is sent to the student after he or she completes the first 2 hours of the course and must be presented at a driving school in order to begin in-car training;

So let's jump right in.
When you turn 15 and a half, you can apply for an Dayton Ohio Temporary Instruction Permit, otherwise known as an Dayton Ohio Learner’s Permit. With this license, the following restrictions apply:
When you're ready to apply, you’ll need to bring proof of age and identity; your social security number; and a parent/guardian to sign the permit application.
If you’ve got all of the necessary materials, head on down to your local Dayton Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) with your parent or guardian and submit your application. Then, you’ll have to take a vision test, as well as a knowledge test. (Relax, you can practice with a sample Dayton Ohio knowledge test.) If you pass, then congratulations--you’ve just earned your Dayton Ohio Temporary Permit!
Once you’ve held your Dayton Ohio Temporary Permit for 6 months and have met a few more requirements, you’ll be ready for the next step in the Dayton Ohio Graduated License Program, the Dayton Ohio Driver License.
The Dayton Ohio Provisional Driver License or Dayton Ohio Full Driver License

On the bright side, once you turn 18, these restrictions are removed. Freedom!
