Ace Driving SchoolFAQ's

Can you tell me if Ace Driving School is a certified driving school in Georgia?
Although Ace Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently licensed to teach hands-on driving courses in Georgia.  We recommend either calling Ace Driving School directly or the Georgia DMV to find out whether or not Ace Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that are state-approved.
Is it true that my mom or dad can be my driving instructor when I do my behind-the-wheel training instead of a professional driving school instructor like the ones they have at Ace Driving School?
It depends on what your state's laws are.  You should contact the Georgia DMV or a licensed driver training school like Ace Driving School to find out if Georgia allows behind-the-wheel training with a parent.
What if I don't know how to drive a manual-shift automobile? Does Ace Driving School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my driver training?
If you're taking a Georgia behind-the-wheel training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- manual or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Ace Driving School that prior to signing up to take the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads everywhere. Will Ace Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain area, chances are that a local driving school like Ace Driving School will include behind-the-wheel driver training specifically tailored to that terrain.
Now that I'm 14, will Georgia allow me to get an instruction permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for an instruction permit.  We recommend that your contact the Georgia DMV office or a Georgia-approved driver training institute such as Ace Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Georgia.
Am I required to take a Georgia classroom or online drivers education course before I can sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course through Ace Driving School?
This requirement varies from state to state but most states do mandate pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask Ace Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
I'm required to take a defensive driving course in Georgia. Do you know if Ace Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training classes in Georgia?
Yes, Ace Driving School does offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Georgia.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to sign up for one of their driver training courses, please contact Ace Driving School directly.
What steps do I have to take in order to get a Georgia drivers license in Georgia?
Most states require that teen-agers who are applying for their first driver's license complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Ace Driving School may be able to help you fulfill the driver training portion in Georgia.  Please contact Ace Driving School for more information.
