Favor Driving SchoolFAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-certified by the Nevada DMV to offer driver training courses in Nevada?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently licensed to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Nevada.  We suggest you contact the Nevada DMV to make sure a particular driver training school is certified before you register for their driving course.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught driver training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
I can't operate a manual-shift. Will Favor Driving School allow me to do my behind-the-wheel training on an automatic-shift vehicle?
We recommend that you contact Favor Driving School and ask them if you can do your behind-the-wheel training using a vehicle that has an automatic shift before enrolling in their driver training course.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Favor Driving School be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a remote area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Favor Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and other types of bumpy terrain.  You may wish to contact Favor Driving School to find out exactly what their behind-the-wheel training course includes before signing up to take their training course.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to apply for my learner's permit in Nevada?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding a learners permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Favor Driving School to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in Nevada.
Do you know if the laws in Nevada require new teen-aged drivers to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to enroll in a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
I have to complete a behind-the-wheel class in Las Vegas Nevada before Nevada will give me my driver's license. Does Favor Driving School offer this type of course?

I live in Las Vegas Nevada and would like to apply for my first driver's license. Do I need to take a driver training course before I can be licensed?
