V K Driving SchoolFAQ's

How do I know if V K Driving School is certified by California's DMV to offer driver training courses?
While we do include V K Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether V K Driving School is licensed by the State of California.  We recommend that you either contact V K Driving School directly or possibly the California DMV to find out if V K Driving School is a certified driver training school.
Will the California DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice as a substitute to taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the California DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in California.
What happens if I don't know how to drive a stick-shift vehicle? Will V K Driving School allow me to do my driver training with an automatic-shift automobile?
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about driving any type of car--stick-shift or automatic-shift!  However, if you prefer to complete your behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle, you should contact V K Driving School and let them know before you register for their behind-the-wheel training course.  That way you will know for certain if they will accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a remote area? Will V K Driving School include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like V K Driving School will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to apply for my instruction permit in California?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding a learners permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driver training institute such as V K Driving School to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in California.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Alhambra California or do I also have to take a driver training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the California's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to take a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
If I need to register for a Alhambra California behind-the-wheel training program, can V K Driving School help?
Yes.  V K Driving School offers driving courses in Alhambra California.  For more information about the type of behind-the-wheel training V K Driving School offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
What do I need to do to get a driver's license in Alhambra California?
It depends on California's laws, but most states require new, teen-aged drivers to enroll in a drivers education classroom course as well as a driver training course.  You may want to call V K Driving School to see if they offer the behind-the-wheel training course that would fulfill the regulations set forth by the California DMV.
Is hands-on driver training required in California in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle?
Absolutely.  All new drivers in California must enroll in an approved driver training course before they can be issued a license to independently operate a motor vehicle.
Will California allow me to register for a driver training course before I actually get my learner's permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you obtain your instruction permit before you sign up with a behind-the-wheel training course.
