How do I know if Cheek's Driving School is certified by Kentucky's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Cheek's Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Cheek's Driving School is certified by the State of Kentucky.  We recommend that you either contact Cheek's Driving School directly or possibly the Kentucky DMV to find out if Cheek's Driving School is a licensed driver training school.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught driver training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding hands-on driving instruction.

Since you're enrolling in a Louisville Kentucky driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a manual-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Cheek's Driving School know what your preference is before signing up to take their driver class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
I live in a very remote area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if Cheek's Driving School offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in urban areas?
Since you live in a rural area, a local driving school such as Cheek's Driving School will tailor your driver training to handle the conditions in your area.
I just turned 14 years old. Can I apply for my learner's permit in Kentucky?
