A Plus Driving SchoolFAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-certified by the Virginia DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Virginia?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently licensed to offer driving training courses in Virginia.  We suggest you contact the Virginia DMV to make sure a particular driving school is licensed before you sign up to take their driving course.
I've been told that either of my parents can monitor my behind-the-wheel training, so I don't have to attend a Fredericksburg Virginia driving school like A Plus Driving School to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Virginia DMV or a state-approved driving school like A Plus Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
What if I don't know how to drive a stick-shift automobile? Does A Plus Driving School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my behind-the-wheel training?
If you're taking a Fredericksburg Virginia driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell A Plus Driving School that prior to signing up to take the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
I live in a remote area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will A Plus Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driving school like A Plus Driving School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to receive my learner's permit in Virginia?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding an instruction permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driver training institute such as A Plus Driving School to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in Virginia.
Do I have to take a Fredericksburg Virginia classroom or online drivers education course before I can register for a behind-the-wheel training course through A Plus Driving School?
This requirement varies by state but most states do mandate pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask A Plus Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
If I need to register for a Fredericksburg Virginia driver training program, can A Plus Driving School help?
