I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Georgia, so taking a Savannah driver training course like the one Abercorn Driving Academy offers is not necessary. Is that true?

If you're taking a Savannah Georgia behind-the-wheel training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Abercorn Driving Academy that prior to signing up to take the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a remote area? Will Abercorn Driving Academy include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other rugged?

Now that I'm 14, will Georgia allow me to get a learner's permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for an instruction permit.  We recommend that your contact the Georgia DMV office or a Georgia-approved driver training institute such as Abercorn Driving Academy to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Georgia.
Do I have to take both a defensive driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Savannah Georgia to get my Georgia driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers sign up to take a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Abercorn Driving Academy and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
