How do I know if Texas Driving School is certified by Texas's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Texas Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Texas Driving School is certified by the State of Texas.  We recommend that you either contact Texas Driving School directly or possibly the Texas DMV to find out if Texas Driving School is a certified driver training school.
Do you know if I can complete my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by Texas Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Texas DMV or Texas Driving School directly to find out if Texas allows parent-taught behind-the-wheel training.
What if I don't know how to drive a manual-shift automobile? Does Texas Driving School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my driver training?
If you're taking a San Antonio Texas driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Texas Driving School that prior to signing up to take the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.

Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for a learner's permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the Texas DMV office or a Texas-certified driving school such as Texas Driving School to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in San Antonio Texas to get my Texas driver's license?
