Redram Traffic SchoolFAQ's

Can you tell me if Redram Traffic School is a licensed driver training school in Florida?
Although Redram Traffic School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach hands-on driving courses in Florida.  We recommend either calling Redram Traffic School directly or the Florida DMV to find out whether or not Redram Traffic School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that are state-approved.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Florida, so taking a Miami behind-the-wheel training course like the one Redram Traffic School offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the Florida DMV or a licensed driver training school like Redram Traffic School and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
Do I need to tell Redram Traffic School that I need to train with an automatic-shift automobile? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift car.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift car!  We recommend that you ask Redram Traffic School if you can complete your behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle before you sign up to take their driver training course.
I live in a rural area, that has a lot of dirt roads and rugged terrain. Will Redram Traffic School train me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driver training school like Redram Traffic School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Redram Traffic School or the Florida DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Florida.
Can I take Redram Traffic School's behind-the-wheel training course before taking a Miami Florida drivers education classroom course or online course?
It depends on what Florida's laws say.  However, you should know that most states will require teen-aged, first-time drivers to complete both a defensive driving classroom course (which are approximately 30 hours in length, depending on Florida's laws) or an approved online course, plus a state-approved driver training course.  We recommend that you contact Redram Traffic School directly to see if they offer either (or both) of these courses.
I have to complete a driver training class in Miami Florida before Florida will give me my driver's license. Does Redram Traffic School offer this type of course?
Redram Traffic School does offer the safe driver training course in Miami Florida that is required by the State of Florida.  You will need to contact Redram Traffic School directly for more information about the driver courses they offer and their class schedules.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Florida driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to complete both a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Florida DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to fulfill in order to obtain your first driver's license.
I live in Miami Florida and would like to apply for my first driver's license. Do I need to take a driver training course before I can be licensed?
Florida law mandates that all new drivers sign up for an approved behind-the-wheel training program before receiving their Florida driver's license.  Redram Traffic School may offer a behind-the-wheel training course that you are looking for.  Please contact Redram Traffic School directly for complete information as to what types of driver training courses they offer.
Will Florida allow me to sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course before I actually receive my instruction permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you obtain your learner's permit before you enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course.
