Right of Way Driving SchoolFAQ's

Is Right of Way Driving School a certified driving school in Texas?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer hands-on driving courses in Texas.  We highly recommend that you contact Right of Way Driving School directly or the Texas DMV to find out for sure if Right of Way Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of Texas.
Will the Texas DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice as a substitute to taking a driver training course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the Texas DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in Texas.
Do I need to tell Right of Way Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift automobile? I don't know how to operate a manual-shift automobile.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift vehicle!  We recommend that you ask Right of Way Driving School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift car before you enroll in their driver training course.
Since I live way out in a rural area where driving on unpaved roads and bumpy terrain is the norm, will Right of Way Driving School be able to teach me how to drive in a rural environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a rural area, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Right of Way Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and rugged terrain.  We recommend that you contact Right of Way Driving School directly to find out exactly what they offer.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Texas?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Right of Way Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Texas.
Do I have to complete a North Richland Hills Texas drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of Right of Way Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own laws, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a driver training course plus either a drivers education classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online drivers education course.  You may want to ask Right of Way Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
