Is it true that my mom or dad can be my driving instructor when I do my driver training instead of a professional driving school instructor like the ones they have at Pensacola State Junior College?

The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Pensacola State Junior College be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?

Are 14-year-olds eligible to obtain a instruction permit in Florida?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the youngest age for which to hold an instruction permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school like Pensacola State Junior College to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Florida.
Can I take Pensacola State Junior College's behind-the-wheel training course before taking a Pensacola Florida drivers education classroom course or online course?
It depends on what Florida's laws say.  However, you should know that most states will require teen-aged, first-time drivers to complete both a defensive driving classroom course (which are approximately 30 hours in length, depending on Florida's laws) or an approved online course, plus a state-approved behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend that you contact Pensacola State Junior College directly to see if they offer either (or both) of these courses.
