Falls Driving SchoolFAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-accredited by the Massachusetts DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Massachusetts?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently certified to offer driving training courses in Massachusetts.  We suggest you contact the Massachusetts DMV to make sure a particular driving school is licensed before you enroll in their driver training course.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a South Hadley Massachusetts driving school like Falls Driving School to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Massachusetts DMV or a state-approved driving school like Falls Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if Falls Driving School makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Falls Driving School and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Falls Driving School will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are dirt roads and rugged terrain all around my house. How do I know if Falls Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Falls Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Falls Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rough terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Falls Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you sign up with them.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Massachusetts?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the Massachusetts Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school such as Falls Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Massachusetts.
Am I required to take a South Hadley Massachusetts classroom or online drivers education course before I can register for a driver training course through Falls Driving School?
This requirement varies by state but most states do require pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based defensive driving course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should ask Falls Driving School if they offer one or both programs.

Yes.  defensive driving courses are available in South Hadley Massachusetts through Falls Driving School.  Please contact Falls Driving School directly with questions regarding their schedule of classes and registration information.

The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to enroll in a safe driving classroom course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as Falls Driving School and ask if they offer a Massachusetts-approved  driver training course which would fulfill Massachusetts's driver's education requirements.
