Driving MBAFAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-licensed by the Arizona DMV to offer driver training courses in Arizona?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently accredited to offer driving training courses in Arizona.  We suggest you contact the Arizona DMV to make sure a particular driver training school is licensed before you sign up to take their driving course.
Could I just have my mother or father give me my behind-the-wheel training instead of paying money to take a professional behind-the-wheel training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which allow you to complete your behind-the-wheel training with a parent or guardian instead of attending a professional driving school.  However many states require that new drivers take a professionally-taught driver training course.  We recommend that you ask your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
What if I don't know how to drive a manual-shift automobile? Does Driving MBA have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my driver training?
If you're taking a Chandler Arizona driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- manual or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Driving MBA that prior to enrolling in the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Driving MBA be able to teach me how to drive safely on rugged terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a rural area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Driving MBA will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and other types of bumpy terrain.  You may wish to contact Driving MBA to find out exactly what their behind-the-wheel training course includes before enrolling in their training course.
I'm turning 14 in a few days. Can I get a learner's permit to drive in Arizona after my 14th birthday?
Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for an instruction permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the Arizona DMV office or a Arizona-certified driving school such as Driving MBA to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
Do I have to take both a defensive driving classroom course and a driver training course in Chandler Arizona to get my Arizona driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers sign up to take a defensive driving classroom course and a driver training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Driving MBA and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
