*The state of New Hampshire does not issue learner’s permit for underage drivers. However, when someone is 15 and a half years old, he can start practicing driving given that he is supervised by a driver who is no younger than 25 and holds a valid driver’s license.
*One may apply for a New Hampshire Driver’s License when he is 16 years old.
*Supervised driving: a minimum of 20 hours outside of any driving practice a person has done as part of a driver education program.
*Unsupervised Driving: Those who hold a valid driver’s license but are younger than 18 are not allowed to be the roads between 1 am-5 am.
*Passenger Rules: Minor drivers are not allowed to carry more than one passenger who is not a family member for the first 180 days after they obtain their license.
*Road test is mandatory.
*All applicants for a driver’s license need to complete an approved New Hampshire drivers education program.
