Stroia School of DrivingFAQ's

Is Stroia School of Driving a licensed driving school in Michigan?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Michigan.  We highly recommend that you contact Stroia School of Driving directly or the Michigan DMV to find out for sure if Stroia School of Driving offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of Michigan.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Michigan, so taking a Taylor driving school course like the one Stroia School of Driving offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the Michigan DMV or a licensed driver training school like Stroia School of Driving and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
Do I need to tell Stroia School of Driving that I need to train with an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know how to operate a stick-shift car.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a manual-shift OR and automatic-shift car!  We recommend that you ask Stroia School of Driving if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift automobile before you enroll in their driver training course.
I live in a small mountain town, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my behind-the-wheel training with Stroia School of Driving include learning how to drive in rural areas? Or do they just offer training for urban driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to be taught how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the behind-the-wheel training you receive from Stroia School of Driving will include handling unpaved roads and mountain driving.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Michigan?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get a learner's permit.  We recommend that you contact the Michigan Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Stroia School of Driving to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Michigan.
Do I have to take both a defensive driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Taylor Michigan to get my Michigan driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers register for a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Stroia School of Driving and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
I'm required to take a defensive driving course in Taylor Michigan. Do you know if Stroia School of Driving offers behind-the-wheel training classes in Taylor Michigan?
Yes, Stroia School of Driving does offer driver training courses in Taylor Michigan.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to enroll in one of their driver training courses, please contact Stroia School of Driving directly.
What do I need to do to obtain a driver's license in Taylor Michigan?
It depends on Michigan's laws, but most states require new, teen-aged drivers to complete a safe driving classroom course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call Stroia School of Driving to see if they offer the driver training course that would fulfill the regulations set forth by the Michigan DMV.
Am I obligated to take a Taylor Michigan behind-the-wheel training course?
All drivers in Michigan must take a driver training course.  You should contact Stroia School of Driving to learn more about the courses they offer.
Is it okay for me to sign up to take a driver training class in Michigan before I receive my Michigan instruction permit to drive?
Probably not.  Most states require first-time drivers to have their learners permit before they are allowed to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training program.  You should contact a driving instruction company like Stroia School of Driving and request more information.
