Ozoor Driving SchoolFAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-accredited by the Michigan DMV to offer driver training courses in Michigan?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently accredited to offer driving training courses in Michigan.  We suggest you contact the Michigan DMV to make sure a particular driving school is accredited before you sign up to take their driving course.
Do I have to take a driver training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required behind-the-wheel training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding hands-on driving instruction.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if Ozoor Driving School makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Ozoor Driving School and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Ozoor Driving School will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Ozoor Driving School be able to teach me how to drive safely on rugged terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a rural area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Ozoor Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and other types of rugged terrain.  You may wish to contact Ozoor Driving School to find out exactly what their behind-the-wheel training course includes before enrolling in their training course.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Michigan?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the Michigan Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Ozoor Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Michigan.
Can I take Ozoor Driving School's driver training course before taking a Dearborn Michigan defensive driving classroom course or online course?
It depends on what Michigan's laws say.  However, you should know that most states will require teen-aged, first-time drivers to complete both a drivers education classroom course (which are approximately 30 hours in length, depending on Michigan's laws) or an approved online course, plus a state-approved driver training course.  We recommend that you contact Ozoor Driving School directly to see if they offer either (or both) of these courses.
I have to take a safe driving class in Dearborn Michigan before Michigan will give me my driver's license. Does Ozoor Driving School offer this type of course?
Ozoor Driving School does offer the driver training course in Dearborn Michigan that is required by the State of Michigan.  You will need to contact Ozoor Driving School directly for more information about the driver courses they offer and their class schedules.
How do I get a drivers license in Dearborn Michigan?
In most states, pre-licensed teens are required to complete both a classroom drivers education course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Ozoor Driving School may be able to help you meet the driver training portion in Michigan.
Do I have to take a Dearborn Michigan driver training course in order to get a driver's license?
