Stroia School of DrivingFAQ's

Can you tell me if Stroia School of Driving is a licensed driving school in Michigan?
Although Stroia School of Driving is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently approved to teach hands-on driving courses in Michigan.  We recommend either calling Stroia School of Driving directly or the Michigan DMV to find out whether or not Stroia School of Driving offers hands-on driving courses that are state-approved.
Will the Michigan DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice in place of taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the Michigan DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in Michigan.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if Stroia School of Driving makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....stick OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Stroia School of Driving and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Stroia School of Driving will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a very remote area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if Stroia School of Driving offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a rural area, a local driving school such as Stroia School of Driving will tailor your driver training to handle the conditions in your area.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Stroia School of Driving or the Michigan DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Michigan.
Do I have to complete a Wyandotte Michigan drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of Stroia School of Driving's driver training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask Stroia School of Driving if they offer one or both programs.
