Is 4 J Defensive Driving licensed by the Texas DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
Although we include 4 J Defensive Driving in our directory of driving schools for Keller Texas, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not 4 J Defensive Driving is certified by the Texas DMV.  You should contact 4 J Defensive Driving directly and ask them if you are thinking about signing up to take their Keller Texas driver training class.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a Keller Texas driving school like 4 J Defensive Driving to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?

What if I don't know how to operate a stick-shift automobile? Does 4 J Defensive Driving have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my driver training?
If you're taking a Keller Texas driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell 4 J Defensive Driving that prior to registering for the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you. 
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads everywhere. Will 4 J Defensive Driving train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain area, chances are that a local driving school like 4 J Defensive Driving will include driving lessons specifically tailored to that terrain. 
I'm turning 14 in a few days. Can I get a learner's permit to drive in Texas after my 14th birthday?
Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for an instruction permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the Texas DMV office or a Texas-certified driving school such as 4 J Defensive Driving to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
I live in Keller Texas. Does the law say I have to successfully complete both a driver ed classroom or online course and a driver training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do require that new, teen-aged drivers successfully complete both a driver training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .
