Hezdil Driving SchoolFAQ's

Is Hezdil Driving School certified by the California DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include Hezdil Driving School in our directory of driving schools for Los Angeles California, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Hezdil Driving School is licensed by the California DMV.  You should contact Hezdil Driving School directly and ask them if you are thinking about signing up to take their Los Angeles California behind-the-wheel training class.
Will the California DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice as a substitute to taking a driver training course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the California DMV to find out if your driver training may be done by your parents in California.
What if I don't know how to operate a stick-shift automobile? Does Hezdil Driving School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my behind-the-wheel training?
If you're taking a Los Angeles California behind-the-wheel training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- manual or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Hezdil Driving School that prior to enrolling in the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are dirt roads and rugged terrain all around my house. How do I know if Hezdil Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Hezdil Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Hezdil Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on bumpy terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Hezdil Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you register with them.
I'm turning 14 in a few months. Can I get a learner's permit to drive in California after my 14th birthday?
Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for an instruction permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the California DMV office or a California-certified driving school such as Hezdil Driving School to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
Do I have to complete a Los Angeles California drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of Hezdil Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own laws, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online drivers education course.  You may want to ask Hezdil Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
California's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Hezdil Driving School offers this course or not?
Hezdil Driving School does offer the driver training course that California requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Hezdil Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact Hezdil Driving School directly.
What steps do I have to take in order to get a California drivers license in Los Angeles California?
Most states require that teen-agers who are applying for their first driver's license complete both a safe driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Hezdil Driving School may be able to help you fulfill the driver training portion in California.  Please contact Hezdil Driving School for more information.

What does the law in California say about driver training courses? Do I have to take one to get my driver's license?
Yes, you do.  California law states that new drivers enroll in an approved behind-the-wheel training course as a prerequisite to obtaining their first driver's license.
Is it all right if I enroll in a behind-the-wheel training school like Hezdil Driving School prior to my obtaining my learner's permit?
In most states, you are required to have already gotten your instruction permit before you sign up to take your behind-the-wheel training course like the one offered by Hezdil Driving School.  We suggest you contact either Hezdil Driving School to find out more information.
